I have two cats, and my Slim is in the attic, which I converted into a bedroom. So it’s hot up there even when air conditioned, it’s also not really good for air flow up there. I had my PS4 in the same spot for years. And had a cheap cooling stand and never vacuumed the PS4 or anything ever and it never
over heated.
I bought the Pro Stand and a similar cooling stand for it. So a few months back my Pro Stand over heated & popped up the message to power. It off and let it cool.
I panicked because I had never experienced a cooling issue with a console before. I learned that you should vacuum your Pro Stand periodically to ensure it doesn’t have overheating issues!? So I took the panels off vacuumed it real good. Seemed ok for a month. Then it started again rinse repeat with vacuuming the Pro Stand. SoI start playing, but the console overheats—this time with no warning.And it suddenly powers off. The process of taking apart the Pro Stand to really deep clean isn’t something I want to risk screwing up.

OIVO Charging and cooling station I have nothing but positive feedback for this company. I used there Charging station for my Xbox. Now that I switched to a PS5. And was having some heat issues after a good session of Call of Duty. Because it sits behind my tv with no airflow. OIVO customer service is next level and they even followed up asking how the product was doing.
