I’ve used Garnier’s Anti Puff Eye Rollers for years. I find them helpful and pleasant to use, and for me they perform exactly as expected. If you already have loose skin, bags and wrinkles under your eyes, this roller will NOT eliminate them. Nor will it magically erase very visible dark circles under the eye. What the eye roller will do is help reduce puffiness/swelling under the eyes. And somewhat improve the appearance of dark circles.
Puffiness/swelling is not the same as having under-eye bags/wrinkles. Puffiness makes the skin under the eyes look swollen. Lack of sleep, allergies, fluid retention, and eye inflammation can cause it. Applying cold compresses or chilled tea bags (the caffeine helps draw out water and reduce swelling) often relieves the condition. You can also massage your face with your fingers or a cold metal facial roller to bring down puffiness.
I’ve been using the Garnier Clearly Brighter Anti-Puff Eye Roller for about 10 months now. And while there are definitely some things I like about it, it unfortunately didn’t work for my dark circles.
The cooling metal roller ball feels super refreshing on the skin—especially if you keep it in the fridge. It’s easy to apply, mess-free, and gives a nice cooling sensation that wakes up the under-eye area. I can totally see why some people love it. And I do think it helps a bit with puffiness, especially in the morning.
